Acorn Adventure is now recruiting for the 2009 season starting in April.

Acorn Adventure is the UK's leading provider of real outdoor adventure camps for schools, groups and families with centres in the UK, France and Italy. We have been making a positive difference to the lives of young people for 26 years.

We are currently recruiting for PaddleSports Instructors for an April 2009 start for our centres, in Normandy and Pas de Calais regions.

About the Role:
Whether you are looking for a career in the outdoor industry or just want to spend some time instructing your favorite activity, we can offer excellent opportunities. This role offers the chance to start a career in the outdoors industry, gain NGB qualifications and build on your current experience and qualifications.

You will be responsible for the delivery of taster activity sessions to children and adults. You must have high standards, be highly motivated, flexible and have excellent people skills. We expect you to deliver superb customer service to our clients at all times.

If you are a BCU Level 2 Trainee Coach or the new UKCC Level 1 Coach you can lead activity sessions.
If you do not yet hold any coaching qualifications but are of BCU 3* standard, there will be opportunities to work towards this.

Minimum BCU Level 2 Trainee Coach or UKCC Level 1 Coach, CST, 1st Aid Certificate

What we Offer:
We offer a weekly wage (£ dependent on skills and qualifications), uniform, tented accommodation and meals. We also offer in-house training and opportunities to work towards and gain NGB qualifications.
