The A&D companies are leading experts in accommodation and destination services worldwide (transfers, excursions, cruise ship handling and meetings & incentives). In particular this roles falls under the Specialist Division which consists of 3 areas: 1) worldwide Cruise handling business Intercruises, 2) portfolio of diverse and specialized Destination Management Companies and 3) network of a jointly MICE strategy with worldwide collaboration over the A&D sector.
This exciting and challenging role includes the overall HR support for the Specialist Division with more than 6,000 employees worldwide. The main focus will be for Intercruises across Europe, Americas and Asia but also for other businesses in Africa, Middle East, India and Asia. The position supports the Head of HR of the division acting as a Business Partner to the management of the related HR topics for Intercruises and assists as and when is required to the projects for the different companies within the division.

What You'll Be Doing
Supports the divisional Head of HR in providing generalist HR functions to the management teams and employees advising them on HR best practise and implementing a HR strategy in line with local needs and Sector/Group HR strategy.
Supports the divisional Head of HR in creating and implementing new HR initiatives, policies and systems in the respective countries together with the local HR teams.
Recruitment: Overall responsibility for the recruitment activities on intermediate and staff levels for Intercruises and support to management recruiting with focus on Spain. Providing general support to the different countries to use sector HR recruitment tools and participation in external recruitment projects (p.e. university programs).
Performance & Talent Management: Monitoring of employees' performance, analysis of training and development needs, coordination for the implementation of training programmes and development activities, support Team leaders in succession planning and talent management.
Training & Development: Participation and Assistance to development initiatives for employee training, retention and to foster team working (Training plans/initiatives, induction, development and teambuilding activities, Career plans, international assignments etc). Conduct employee follow-up interview after recruitment and exit interviews. Also assists to work on employee surveys and follow-up of developing and actions plans for the Business Partners.
Assistance to Compensation & Benefits Management (according to C&B policy and tools, helps to implement salary band and grade system, support to job description project).
Manages the general reporting tools on the recruitment on a monthly and bi-annual level, coordinates reporting of development and performance of the teams as well as the updating of organisational charts.
Supports the coordination of labour relation-wise HR issues with local HRM / Personnel Administration on staff level (employment contracts, employee relations topics etc) with focus on the Spanish destinations.
Supports the divisional Head of HR to the organisational Development to the integration and M&A activities with respect to people related issues (Orgcharts, job descriptions etc).
What We're Looking For
HR professional with 3-5 years experience in an international HR Business Partner role with focus on Recruitment and Development. Experience in the travel industry would be a plus.
The successful candidate holds a university degree with emphasis in the field of HR (Psychology, Business Administration or Law)
A full proficiency level in the Spanish & English language is a must (written and verbal)
Customer obsessed, results orientated and flexible approach
Able to communicate and influence all levels, including employees and management.
Empathy, honesty and transparency should be part of the personality
Practical hands-on approach
Should also have a working knowledge of the general business IT applications
This position would require some business travels but not on a regular basis.
